Any new shipwreck will always generate a lot of interest, but the fact that this one has been drifting across the Atlantic for months certainly added to the intrigue. The ship was abandoned in September 2018 and has had an interesting journey across the atlantic from Bermuda to Africa and ending up on the Coast of Co Cork. Its story definitely deserves the tag line Ghost Ship which it seems to be getting in the media. Main concern now is the environmental impact which is being assessed.
This was just a very brief visit for me, so just a few different angles, with a plan to revisit once the crowds die down.
