In Part 2 of this series I decided to compile the images I felt worked better in colour. In most cases the conditions were quiet overcast and calm so I tried to maintain the muted colours in the images. As with most of these posts, the images are from a number of visits at different tide positions which allowed different perspectives and compositions to be explored.
The previous post from this location can be found here (recent) and here (going back a while).
On one particular occasion I had particularly nice moment of light as the sun set. Its that low evening light set against dark moody clouds. It really was a stunning few minutes and unfortunately fell into the trap of trying to run around and capture as many images as possible, some of which are below. Really something I try and avoid but the temptation was too strong.
I feel that a higher tide suits this beach better with its steeply banked pebble beach but a lower tide also revealed some sand which was much more evident in years past.
